Bent tie rod.

Seems by tie rod is bent. One wheel just isn't sitting correctly. I know what caused this, I was just wondering, Could this be a DIY fix? I've got access to pretty much any tool an amateur mechanic could think off. But, and it seems to be, that this is not the case because of the complexity Of that whole mechanism. Anyone else here had that problem and if so what's the pricing your shop gave you so I can get a ball park of what I'm lookin' at here.

You can change an tie rod with some sockets, side cutters, hammer, punch, and channel-lock pliers. Not really a super hard job. I had a lift when I did mine, but it didn't involve any specialty tools.

Actually, one exception. The new rack boots were so difficult to get on that we used a torch to warm and soften them.

Inner's and outers are about $50 each, they are l/r specific and only avail from the dealer.
