So I have found out that I am the 4th owner of my SVX. And I have also found out the redline ATF has been used in the car for quite some time...I found old receipts for the stuff and the names of places to get it in the glovebox. Now onto more interesting things...I found the old registrations to 4 different porsche 911's in the glovebox as well. I know for a fact that the previous owner of my SVX...the one i bought it from had 2 porsche 911's. One of which i got to drive the same day i test drove my SVX. So that leads me to believe that each owner of my SVX except for me has owned a 911. Everyone that knows me knows that I am a Subaru fanatic and a porsche fanatic as well. Gotta love that Boxer engine :D . So if this pattern continues I will own a 911 someday like I have hoped for my whole life :) . I got to drive a 911 today for the 3rd time in my life ( yes i know im a holy man :D )....and i gotta tell you what a great feeling. Felt like I was in heaven ripping through the gears. But I will tell you that I have concluded that if I ever buy a manual car it will only be to drive fast with and only taken out when I can do so because I hated driving the manual through the city and stop and go traffic. Would only be fun for me if i was alone on a road upstate where I can tear it up :) . This all makes me even more proud to own my SVX...knowing it was cared for before i bought it....and knowing that it was owned by CAR enthusiasts who shared the love for 2 of the same brands I do....Porsche and Subaru.

Nope can't make it chike....i will be at yankee stadium in da bronxxxx saturday night :) ....i loathe the yankees as i am a diehard phillies fan but i can't pass up the awesome seats behind home plate.

i'm the 4th owner of my car as well... i don't know anything about the first 2 owners and the 3rd owner i was told by the dealership that they had it for a couple monthes then traded it in for a rustang

PS: We will be up in Woodside then Bethpage, LI on Satuday for a family gathering (Wife's grand nephew's First Communion). However I would much rather be at a Yankee game (So would the kid's dad).

Hmm there actually my friends tickets...his neighbor gave them to him. I will call him today and see what he says and see if he wants to sell them. I have a feeling he will say no because the big unit is supposed to pitch. I will keep you informed larry!

Found a clipping from the New York times from Janury 23rd 1998 in the glovebox as well. It says " If you keep the car long enough, the depreciation factor practically disappears and if you are lucky and take good care of one of the more exotic orphans, like the corvette ZR-1 or the SUBARU SVX, you might even make a little money when you want to sell it." but why would you want to do something like that? :D :D :D...if only this was true and the prices of our cars went up!

I don't have a scanner but I think my friend has one. I could take a pic of it and put it in my locker if I can get a hold of a digital camera!
