I was wondering how Kameleon paint would look
Kinda wondered how color change paint would look on an SVX, now I know:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SVX-S...ayphotohosting  |
Either that person didn't use a consistent paint mix or the SVX has too many sharp curves and creases. But aside, from of the reflection issues it actually looks good.
|
It didn't turn out quite as cool as I hoped, but better than I feared. I think the color change paint is neat stuff, but nothing I plan on inflicting on my car. A NW member has a couple of trim pieces painted with color change, I like the effect of the small dose of color shift.
 |
Kameleon paint never looks as good in pics as it does in person, but even still, I don't think it's something I would ever want to use on an SVX (might change my mind after seeing one in person, who knows)

i would rock chameleon paint if it was....
say... black to silver shifting or maybe silver-gunmetal that would be something else |
That looks aweful  You don't and never should paint your CLASSIC SVX in that color    (you don't see 57 Chevy Bel-Aire's in this color)

Looks like fnders and doors were painted at a different times. Like the paint mix is different.

I too think that at least the front passenger fender was repainted. It never matches from any angle.
