What did you get done to your SVX this week?

Busy week for me, interested in what you all got done.

Replaced my seats, door panels, carpet gauge cluster and trim.
Replaced most of the EGR system

fixed all the cracked hoses under the intake manifold

replaced my alt

charged the AC

installed new 02 sensors

Hit my car with rubbing compound, polishing compond, and 2 wax coats. (its hopeless, I need new paint)

And pulled about 80 parts from the parts car.

Let's see....
I drove to KY to look it over (460mi round trip)
Bought it
Drove it nearly 500mi this weekend
Bought a new tire.
Secured various loose trim bits.
Tried to troubleshoot the stereo. (no luck, all I have are the D/S front speakers)
Sat on the porch for 2-3 hours reminding myself that it's MINE.

Lets see...

I put gas in it(twice).
Installed new ceramic rear break pads(fronts already done).
Washed it.
Contemplated removing the headliner, but did not, cause i got tired/lazy today.

Myxalplyx 10-14-2007 04:54 PM

Installed an intake. :)

Oh...and took off the 19" dubs for lightweight RX7 rims.

About time!

I only:

Installed a freshly painted, JDEM spoiler equipped trunk lid on BillStock 4.0
Almost finished running "block seal" through the engine....beginning to think that yes, the wandering temp needle was due to a sticking thermostat

Put the Pearlie's trunk lid back on (it was on BillStock 4.0 while it's was being painted, getting the JDEM spoiler installed)
Drove the Pearlie around the area with no tags on it - had "eagle-eye Austin" riding shotgun.
Confirmed that the Pearlie's parking pawl in the trans is not holding (starting drifting back down the driveway until I put the parking brake on)

Moved the dual AICs around the garage and started thinking about how I can mount them without cutting the SVreX's front bumper up too much
Loaded a box of 304 stainless pipe into the commuter car to use later this week when I learn how to TIG weld EG33 headers:rolleyes:
Put more air into one of the 295 A6s that refuses to hold air for more than a week:mad:
