O/T: Abbreviations
 

I can figure out most of them from the context, but I'm stumped - what do "LOL" and "ROFL" stand for?

LOL = laugh out loud

ROFL = Roll On Floor Laughing

ROFLMAO = see above+ My A** Off

No, it originally stood for 'lost our lunch.'

One of my favorites at work is a PBH - Paranoid Blue Head, a little old lady with a brake squeak who's convinced she's going to die from the noise.

In medical terms, LOL would be little old lady. Considered mildly rude to use, but not as rude as adding ROFLMAO to the chart.

My favorite is SOB: shortness of breath.
