Drag Racing Meet August 19th Atco New Jersey
 

Yeah yeah yeah, we all know that the last time I held one of these I blew my motor 2 days before the races but I am gonna do it again. Chike seems to have a deep rooted obsession with breaking into the 14's and to be honest with you, I would love to be there when he does it. I wouldn't mind romping on him again when it does happen :D . On a more serious note, this meet should be a lot of fun. After having the guys out at Hagerstown this past weekend I saw what drag racing SVX meets can be all about. So thej plan is to get all you goys out to nice cool weather Jersey that is a little closer to sea level. Mid august should be cool enough for us to get some really good times down, not to mention we race until 10 pm so when the sun goes down, so does the temps!! I for one will go into work tomorrow and request this Friday evening off as I definately plan on being there. I hope that many of you do the same. Even if you are not racing, the SVX crowd is always a good time. Maybe we can coax Jesse into running the funny stuff in his car if he comes out again :eek: :D . I also hope to be running a little something special by then, just not is such large doses. Well please any suggestions and signups are welcome. I don't wanna rag anyone about it, but if you are not here, I would assume you are all afraid of being beat!! :D

I won't be able to make it as the meet is on a Friday. Since I started my new job on June 1st, I'm technically not eligible for vacation until after the first 3 months - however, my boss is letting me take my family to Orlando in late July/ early August. Asking for a day off on the 19th would be pushing it. :o

As long as I can get my rear fixed by then I will deffinately be running my whip(I have my eye on one on ebay so no one else better buy it). Tom said he may make a few runs also. I hope to have the 75 zex by then also so maybe a low 14 sec run is in for my wheels. I have things to do before then though. Like rx7 wheels and stuff.... Maybe we could pry the racer from Ben's clutches for a few 1/4 mile runs if we get lucky :) . Jesse I would love to see you out at the strip again. I am sorry to inconvenience anyone again since it is a friday but this raceway does not have street racing on the weekends. Well signup if ur commin guys

Oh yeah, forgot about that Friday part. It's funny becouse I too am taking a week off to go to Florida, but I'm leaving this weekend. My boss is gonna want to kick my ass when I ask for another day off :D Plus money is getting really tight right now, so that may be more of a factor, but as long as I can get around all that stuff you can count me in. :)
