Three weeks for the first test fit. Shortly after that should all go well.

I know how much of a pain this is waiting. I have snow on the ground here and my SVX had studded snow tires on it. Its like a snow cat and nearly unstoppable in this weather. Gobs of traction, but I am forced to drive a rear-wheel-drive no weight in the back hunk of junk Ford Ranger with bald tires.

Well to be honest, my radiator is trashed, but I still drive it as nesessary and top it off from time to time. I would rather do that than get in a wreck! On days where the temp stays above freezing and there is not snow, I drive the company truck. But on days like today where its 28 degrees and there is snow on the ground, I deal with my leaky radiator.

I am sure that the guys at PWR are doing their best to get these done quick. I mean this is potential revenue for them and I am sure they want as much before Christmas as possible. Lets hope its not quite that long. I will inquire on how many they can do a day or week when they know everything fits good.

:D :D :D :D

What happened to the amount of $450? I still want one it's just gonna make me have to work some over-time now . I was under the impression that the amount of $450 was pretty much guaranteed. Also when and to where do we make our payments?

after the first batch they are going to go up to $549
The group buy price is $450.00 but after the group buy the price will jump to $549.00, so by getting in on the group buy you will save $100.00.

ensteele 11-30-2004 07:54 PM

It may be a good idea for us to let the group know if you are willing to wait till the end of production so those who need them NOW can get them ASAP. I am getting one for a spare, so it will not bother me if I am the last to get one. (I hope this will not give me bad luck) ;)

OK that's a relief. I guess I just miss-read the post. I still need to know if a date has been set for payments. Also, everybody that is getting this radiator should sign up for the silicone rad. hose group buy. You don't want to put your old crappy hoses on a shiny new aluminum radiator. They still need a few more guys to get them into production.

Test fit

Chris do they already have an SVX for the test fit? If not I live only twenty minutes away, and could get a rent a car.

What is the buy on the silicon hoses?

sicksubie 12-01-2004 07:32 AM

The buy is $120 for the set, which includes the upper and the lower hoses. You have your choice of colors too. It's being set-up by Dayle from Motorsport. I think that anyone that's getting this new radiator that is planning on putting their original hoses should just get these.

Aluminum Radiator

You forgot to add me to the list. Any pictures or summaries of what we will be getting. Sorry didn't look through the whole post.

anyone who needs their's now as opposed to those just upgrading please indicate it next to your name as I did. If you do not need it right away please do not write anything. this is a list for those who need it as soon as possible. thank you

If it fits, add me to the list

Count me is as long as the prototype fits and works.
I'm already in on the silicon hose group buy. I recommend it for everyone on this list as well. Our SVX cooling systems will become bulletproof!
