My account is back up.

oops. I spaced out on you guys for a few days and forgot I made this thread. I'm running them all now.

Sorry. Be done in a few minutes with them all.

Electrophil 01-06-2007 10:14 AM

OK, they are all in my personal locker in the Carfax folder. The filenames are the first 2 digits of the VIN followed by the last 4 digits.

There were 2 discrepencies. 1 is on Budfreak's. I found a similar by changing the middle digits of 3536 to 3535. If this isn't the right one Budfreak, let me know and I'll redo it.

The second discrepency is on SVX Playboy, and I think it was just a typo. I changed the NHI to NH1, and it came up with a salvage vehicle which would make sense on getting an engine from it.

A special thanks goes out to SVX Playboy for reminding me I made this thread. If he hadn't of, it's untelling if I ever would have remembered. For some reason, I'm not getting emails for this thread. I'll watch it from now on.

For the rest of you, my appologies for the delay. I spaced on you guys. :(

Sorry buddy, I screwed up on the numbers. It was the last digit. I changed it in my original post. You can delete the other one and run the new one. Thanks;)

Still not working. I get this error message::)

The VIN you supplied, "JF1CX3536NH100967", is invalid. Please check the number for accuracy and try again below.

- The letters "I", "O", and "Q" never appear in a VIN.
- The VIN must be exactly 17 characters in length.
- The CARFAX database contains information for cars manufactured from 1981 through the present.

I've been online looking up TV remotes. Logitech Harmony is looking good, and I'm going to research that model further. I'll be back in around 30 minutes or so.

OOPS.. Yep, I did!!

But it's just the filename I gave it for my personal locker that's incorrect. The actual VIN on the carfax PDF file is correct.

So I get a C. :D :D
