At first I thought it was a scaled down version (or it is has a large driver!!) then I realised that it is a late 80s Honda - place hand over the tail wing to see .....

Can't get much past you guys. Late 80's Civic on the mark. Impreza bumper (if I heard him correctly) and grille. He did say the bumper was a perfect fit, just trimmed off 2" at the wheel well and reglued the end piece back on. Late model NA VTec and transmission. Miata brakes. Salvage yard car with seized engine and no bumper. By the way, the round hole in the hood (bonnet) is the exhaust.

Skinny tire were for the autocross. (???) It ran 10 second 1/4 mile with wide slicks the next day.
