You don't know what you got....
... until you put a FWD fuse into your car. I had to drive home tonight after a little snowstorm in my daughter's Legacy that is experiencing some binding problems. I put the FWD fuse in today to test it and I could not believe the difference in the car. It was the first time I have felt tense (scared if you will) driving home in more than 10 years since I started driving Subbies. That's not to say there was anything wrong with the car. I just never realized how the rest of the world felt when it snowed outside. I always look forward to snow, but I can now sympathize with the two-wheelers. lol

I had a terrible winter experience when my rear transfer clutch sheered off in my first transmission. I ended up not going anywhere when the roads werent plowed because I kept getting stuck. Having AWD again rocks.:D

I took the parent's Forester to work a couple weeks ago and we got a solid amount of snow during the day. The Forester has bad all seasons on it, and it was a bit if a shock for me going from my Blizzaks back to crappy GoodYears. Snow tires FTW!!!
