Small hesitation/ skip

I noticed after installing my 5speed that if I try to cruise 3rd gear at 3,000 rpms , the car has a definite hesitation, and today I went out to start it it to let it run for a wile(the weather's been so crappy I don't drive it) and I held it up around 3,000rpm and could hear the engine breaking up a little bit intermitantly.

The plugs are only 12,000 miles old, and the plug boots all looked in good shape when I was in there.

So any one have this problem too. May be a dieing coil pack?

I'd check all the Vacume hoses, could be a slight vacume leak causing it.
Also you might want to recheck all the connectors that were bothered during the swap, one might be loose, of possiably routed wrong and wearing thru, and grounding out.

Just some simple things to check....somethime the simple things get overlooked.

I don't think it's a result of the 5speed swap, just something I noticed with the more direct mechanical link to the engine. I did ask a question about oil residue around my IRIS valve, It's acctually dripping on to the motor. This could also be a vacume leak no?
