505 diesel...in the house
 

A friend of a friend had this 1984 Peugot 505 turbo diesel STI for several years, registered it most of the time, drove it all the time, and just generally dinked arround. He's pushing 65 IQ points, so he makes a few mistakes here and there, and 3 months ago this car was impounded, no tags, insurance, or lisence... and now I have it for the painfull price of...$350 :mad: gawd, that's 2 tanks in my truck :lol::lol::lol: or 1.5 tires :lol: I think I could enjoy this, 5 speed and all :)

Sweet, let me know if you need any parts, I have a FEW extra parts from my trip to Bellingham for parts for my 505, mine's an 85, but it's also an STI turbo diesel. I'm tempted to put my STi badge on it just for kicks :lol: I was gonna put Subaru wheels on it but they won't clear the brakes.

Could you help a brother out and send me some good high rez pics of the engine compartment? Mine has some hokified wiring and a few vacuum lines to nowhere that I'd like to re-connect, but I have yet to find another Peugeot around here.

I think I could do that, is email good, or perhaps another way? In any case, I won't be arroun day for a day or 2, but soon enough :)
