"Orange" SVX on ebay?
This is cool, a 92 SVX listed as Red on eBay. But it looks pretty orange-ish to me, it must be a repaint, I don't think I ever saw one painted this color before. Not bad.

I think it's a combination of weird lighting and a cheap digital camera. The door jambs do look red in one picture.

Sunset Orange Metallic off a 4th gen TA or that burnt orange off a 350Z would be rocksome.

Re: "Orange" SVX on ebay?
I think that it is a true red colour (or color) - I mean unless the car was gutted, why would you paint the engine bay area the same colour (interior spare wheel area also).
What sort of cost to do a decent paint job in USA?. I know that in NZ you would spend approx NZ$5,000 (that is assuming you do most of the donkey work for the panel & paint shop. |

(actually I like the color) |
Re: "Orange" SVX on ebay?
eh, i don't much care for the color. it looks like a $400 macco job, which means they combined the clear coat with the paint instead of doing seperate sprays, and it will fade rapidly. I wouldn't go near it without inspecting it for bubbling and such to see that the paint isn't bubbling. I've seen quite a few macco jobs where the sand job was less than desirable.
