driving from tenessee to iowa and my alternator's voltage regulator went out, and i'm overcharging. is there anyone that can help me get back on my way in the area? call me at 712-790-1354. thanks!

Looks like I'll be stuck here until tomorrow. Nobody can get an alternator until then.

Did you get the alternator from autozone? I might have an extra one. Let me know.

I had to order one yesterday, so I hope to pick it up sometime before noon.

right now i'm in carroll. I passed through DM at about 4 pm or so. I'll be heading back through either tomorrow night, or monday morning.

Arrived home last night with no more problems. Had a nice little meet with Bailey, and helped her out a bit. Got what I thought to be decent mileage, too.

estimated 28.9 mpg after straight interstate driving plus ~35 miles of going to work, then to get gas afterward. If I had filled up right off of the interstate, I may have been close to 30+ mpg.

No, Mike was driving through, and since I live in Des Moines area, I gave him a call and he stopped as he was driving back to TN. We had never met but had a short but fun visit. Mine is the 94 Barcelona red, Mike's is gorgeous inside and out 92 pearlie.
