Detailed! Brilliant Red '96 SVX. Under 15K Miles! Many Pics.

So this is our 1996 SVX LSi. The car that sits in the garage. Was bought it in 1996 brand new off the lot. It’s at 14,923 miles right now. Always kept it clean and waxed it with the autozone meguiars/mothers line products. I finally got the huge PC kit from detailersdomain a couple weeks ago, and this was the first car I tried it on. Little daunting at first with potentially harming the paint, but after doing a lot of research and having patience, it turned out great. I started Friday night and finished it up Sunday morning. Was way too much work for me doing it all at once on my first try. That being said, I can probably go much quicker on my next car. Now on to the products and pics!

The before and after pictures are amazing!

I mean the before picture shows that it's in near perfect condition and that dull shade of red is just what we are used to as "normal" for a good condition red SVX.

But two days of elbow grease really paid off, that's the nicest US red SVX I've ever seen, including in original sales materials!

I also wanted to add that I am amazed by how nice the lights are. i thought from factory the lights were kinda blah.

Thanks for all the comments guys. But in regards to the "offer" I got up there, looks like my dad will be passing it on/selling it to me someday. Very excited by this. I'll keep it just as nice but maybe drive it a little more haha. Since that feeler for this car was up on this forum at the end of last summer, only 800 miles have been put on it!
