93 Restoration Project
Well, the damaged 93 that I purchased from John Shotsky is in the shop and in the process of being repaired. It is scheduled to be completed before the end of June. Four students final grades depend on the outcome!  :) :) I have most of the parts up there for them, but a few more to go. They are doing a great job so far, and I am sure it will continue. :)
To see the progress, you can go to this site to see pictures of the car and progress. :) |
HAHA :D :D Good Luck to the project, may your students do an excellent job and PASS. :p

Cool. How much is it costing to have the students do the work? Is the entire front clip going to be replaced?
Very interesting Earl. Thanks for the pictoral, keep them coming.
I am not sure if they are going to replace the whole front clip or not. The instructor said that they will cut along the factory seams. As they do it, I will post more pictures and show the process. I am glad they are doing it and not me! :D
As far as the cost, I will pay for all of the parts, materials and supplies, but the labor is free. :)
Wow! Brings back memories... I use to do that in my youth. I put a 1972 Plymouth front clip on to a totaled 1970 Plymouth, It was not fun.
that is really cool earl...now since you have more "room" why don't you give me your blue, i'll give her a nice home :D

They just painted the 93 yesterday. I will try to get a picture posted asap. It looks great. They are putting the final parts on.
I need a fan system to get it running, and hope I have got one commin'. :) :) |
They painted it Barcelona right? j/k flynavy :)
I finally got a couple of pictures of the car after it was painted. It still has a few things that need to be done, but will be finished when I get the last few parts.
This picture is the side that got hit. The hood closes fine, but was not latched when the picture was taken because they were still working on it. This is a before picture of the damage. It will soon be on the road again. :) |
Wow, very nice work. You must be happy with the results!
