A funny thing happened on the way to the store....
 

So there I was, a little over an hour ago, driving down Altadena Drive in Pasadena, on my way to the store. I happened to look to my right at a Chevron station, and there sat a beautiful pearl SVX with Murano rims! Being a pearl SVX owner myself (sporting STi BBS rims), I had to pull in behind the guy. When he came out of the mini-mart, he did a double take. I introduced myself to him, and we chatted for quite a while. He's a very nice guy, who loves his SVX. Mike, it was nice meeting you. Too bad we didn't have a camera.

I've seen a couple of nice ones here in LA lately. One was in Atwater Village on San Fernando (I flashed my lights and waved but they probably didn't see me) and another mint looking Bordeaux on the PCH heading into Santa Monica that gave me a nice wave back. It always makes my day when I see another SVX in the city. One of these days we'll have to heed Paul's word and actually get a meet together. I just never know when I'll be available, I can't make any plans more than a couple hours in advance, but the chance encounters are rare enough to get me pumped about the possibility of a meet.
