Hi forum ,

As the title says , i am looking for a copy of a 1992 UK ecu rom .bin file

I have found an 1996 on phil's website , but need the 1992 version.

We are currently restoring a 1992 vehicle , but some parts have been used on a volkswagen :eek:

The file on my website came from the ECU of a scrapped car. I was told it was a 96, but many 1992 cars sat around unregistered for years and were eventually registered as later models. I'm fairly confident that this ECU is either from a 92 model, or the 96 ECU is identical to the 92 model. The ROM ID gives it away: 722531 (second digit is a 2 for 1992).

In any case, it will work fine in your car.
