Also, how does the controller work for LHD cars? It will only fit a dash that is RHD. Any input from anybody with LHD cars that have done this install.

It fits but you have to put it in upside down. The mirror controls will then work backwards if i remember correctly.

And the R/L selector switch is opposite as well! Down is up, right is left, left is right... etc. You could loose you mind adjusting the mirrors!

it's always this way. For some reason they have it in their heads that SVX owners have a lot of money.

Also that if you slap JDM in front of something it makes the price go up 3 times as much as it should.

Here's a quote on shipping:
"SHIPPING AND HANDLING IS $75 FOR USA AND CANADA"

Actually, it's the other way around: USA residents think that the SVX and its parts are only worth half of the real value.

In the rest of the world, even Japan, it was a rare and exotic $70000 car.

True. Rare + Newly Introduced + Stealership Profit + Customs/Taxes = $45~$55K  over here if I remember correctly

Actually BOTH JDM mirrors have the same size image as our RIGHT side mirror, so you only need to change the left side glass. You can buy the glass on Ebay for $19 shipped. Yes, the controls do work and as pointed out you have to mount it upside down so things are backwards. Visually it looks the same unless you focus on the lettering--except for the additional function switch for folding. I am not sure if any of the switches are beige.
