jdm svx

While I am sure that this subject has been covered repeatedly here, I didn't find it in my half-assed search, and I suppose it is possible that the answer might have changed since it was last asked.

does anyone know of a jdm svx ever being imported to the US?

just curious of course in that I doubt I could afford to do it myself.

I did see something about someone doing that a few monts ago i think. I'm sure it's possible, but I'm also sure that if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

I thought there was one over here in the US, but I don't remember who has it. :)

Hocrest 01-31-2007 09:50 PM

Didn't it come in through Canada, then Dayle picked it up????

DarknessofDeath 02-01-2007 07:21 AM

there's an import place here in canada - i think it's in BC though
www.terra2imports.ca
they sell whole cars and not parts though
i'm actually trying to pick up a source here for jdm parts myself.

Jdm

I sent some e-mails on this in hopes they will give me some heads up on shipping, Trade veiw is one i ask about,

Dengue 02-01-2007 04:12 PM

oh, actually, I don't know that it would be THAT expensive, I found a place in japan that exports cars, and most of the prices are fairly reasonable...

www.batfa.com

twin turbo supras, skylines, honda nsx... fast and furious crap... but, I did see a couple of seras on there. that would be kind of fun to own.. I've never seen an svx on there, but I think if you contact them, they will find a specific car if they can.... eh.. even at a reasonable price, I still am too cheap...

my girlfriend and I have discussed getting her a pleo.. ( I showed her a picture of a pink one, and she got all excited and called it a hello kitty car)

Hi Guys,

Prices in Japan have got very high the past few months a good condition 94/95 is going for between 700.000 to 1,110.000 Yen ($5800 to $9200)
VL spec with the 4ws make the same if not higher.
They are generally hard to find in any condition with the best being kept in Japan or going to Russia for mega money.

Add your shipping and whatever import duty and registration you guys have to pay and its works out an expensive deal.

This post is funny now.

There is 1 in LA or will be anytime now.

A Japanese pro sportsman ( believe he is a baseball player) bought the left hand drive JDM VL 4ws I mentioned in post a few weeks ago.

Hey, what is up with those floor mats? Aren't those the same ones that are in Earl's silver jdm? Is that a japan thing?

RSVX 06-16-2007 06:22 AM

Look at ensteele's signature in this thread...

DarknessofDeath 06-16-2007 07:30 AM

yeah..those are jdm floor mats...they are quite nice actually..as long as you keep the car clean and not drive with shoes on

Darren 06-16-2007 08:55 AM

I have them in my JDM, they kind of grow on you after a while and had no negative comments, people take them as being quirky like the car :D

I have a spare set of brand new ones from Japan a friend of mine saw at a parts auction & sale in Tokyo, paid roughly $250 US for them but still in orginal bags. He got hold of a set of Subaru front & rear Mudflaps and a boot tidy net and liner mat also.

SomethingElse 06-16-2007 08:58 AM

Isnt their a way to bypass all of the crap by renting a space in a container or something?

I was going to get the one ensteele has but that was a cross country trip and the guy couldnt promise me that i could drive the car home.:(
