jman050 05-22-2006 03:49 PM

gest24 05-22-2006 05:12 PM

Any pics? How'd you find out about this?

Ricochet 05-22-2006 05:18 PM

drifting svx's.. right.

Suby Fan 05-22-2006 05:27 PM

actually how drift-able are SVX's? i mean you can put them in 50/50 lock by keeping the car and low gear... and with the right suspenision and tires i would imagine that it isn't that hard... I mean look how much fun it is in the snow!

Shadabob 05-22-2006 05:45 PM

Is Tokyo Drift for PS2 only? or do you know if the PSP will have it too?

I still think the SVX in Sega GT 2002 (and 2002 online) is the best race game ever with a SVX ( a 95, I think). It also has the XT turbo :D Great handling mechanics and fun courses...plus it has a 1/4 mile drag race! I could do something like 15.5 with a stock SVX Auto, so pretty realistic. I got it down in the 12s with just a little effort, so if anyone asks....yes, one of my SVXs runs 12s :p

I am keeping my fingers crossed for Forza 2 Motorsport for the 360. Watch the trailer and you will understand. Unfortantely in the 1st forza for xbox, the only subarus were imprezas (which is cool! But just not enough variety)

curly2k3 05-22-2006 06:44 PM

yeah, PS2 only... went into time trials and it was in the "new" cars... does alright, slug off the line but has decent power... fairly accurate actually... now I am just saving up to buy one.

curly2k3 05-22-2006 06:48 PM

forgot to tell you guys too... best buy, only ten bucks!

gest24 05-22-2006 07:10 PM

I see they finally decided to bring the Kaido Battle series over here. I think this is the first one that came out in Japan way back in '03! I got Kaido Battle 2 a while back (info & pics here), and they have a third one out now.

Yeah Nathan thanks to you, I found the game! It's a great game if you like serious drifting. I've been playing this one still. I just can't find other good racing games with SVX. The modeling of the SVX is very good, and you can customize with body kits, color, rims. Fun.

I have loaded short (very short due to file size) clip from the game.

Landshark 05-29-2006 11:57 PM

i was at Best Buy today and bought the game - it is probably the worst racing game i've ever played.

wait forever for each screen to load, and then you are awarded points for fishtailing around.

the SVX sounds like a vacuum cleaner, too.

i'm gonna win more money, and then rice it out! http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...hark/24960.gif
