Power steering reservoir screen question.
 

Does the power steering fluid reservoir have any screens/filters other than the removable basket? A little bit of something plastic fell in there and I need to know if it's safe to drive home where I can drain everything and clean it out the right way.

The debris pieces that fell into the sump of the fluid reservoir were part of the dipstick cap the had broken off at some point. Each about 1/4" by 1/8" with a raised cylinder in the middle. From the looks of it, they were once attached to the black portion of the cap on either side of the dip stick. One fell in this morning, I have no idea how long the other was in there. Talk about a pain in the butt getting them outta there, it required removing the reservoir, and fishing around with an index finger. Oh and lots of patience. I would have used long hemostats if I had a set.
