Hi guys.
I converted my SVX to manual transmission in 2009. I used a legacy turbo transmission, pedal assembly and a hydraulic clutch system. It works fine, but its not perfect, because the pedals arent in a good position. To prevent trouble with the gas pedal, I installed an adapter between the pedal assembly and the firewall of 1.2inch. Now, I want to make it better, because I cant fill the hole in the firewall and I want the pedals all in one line. The problem is, that when i remove the adapter, I will get problems with the gas pedal, because it will bump on the rod for the clutch. Can someone help me , who did the same conversion and solved this problem? Thanks in advance! PS.: sorry for my bad english, hope you can understand everything ;) fluo |
Re: manual clutch pedals
The gas pedal in my car has a plate that shifts it slightly down and to the left. That seems to be the key to my pedals all working together. The clutch/brake pedal assembly looks to be from an STi and is hydraulic.

Re: manual clutch pedals
shorten the the rod on the gas pedal so it doesnt interfere,
i have mine coming off the the firewall which i prefer cause i have issues of the clutch pedal hittin the firewall |
Re: manual clutch pedals
Thank you guys!
Now, I can finally complete the manual transmission swap. :) fluo |
