Transmission questions
 

I have just gotten a 92 svx. When i got it he told me it had transmission problems and hadn't driven it in a couple years. It wouldn't shift out of first gear when i got it so I flushed the trans and put a new a new computer in it. And now it shifts smooth in and out of gears...no rough shifts at all. but it shifts strange, it revs really high before it shifts and i can get it to shift by letting off the gas a bit. Is there something i can do to fix this problem?

This is a common remedy for over-revving between shifts.
