No crank
 

So i did a drive train swap finally in my 94L with 92ls. The 92 drove fine but had some issues cosmetically in and out.

Well after everything was removed and replaced, I was going to fire up the 94 with 92 drive train but no crank! What could it be? Had no time to check voltage at starter.

Did you fit the little slip spade connector to the starter?

i connected that little bugger and made sure i had a good battery....still nothing

Tranny switch on trans lined up correctly, is the park light lit, try in neutral, anything wrong in those areas will not let it crank.......G

well we (dad and i) didn't line up the shift lever and the tranny switch at first. so with the shifter in park, the light on the dash was in reverse. we jacked the car back up and disconnected cable from tranny and put the tranny in park as well still no start.

we will adjust the tranny switch to correlate with the shifter this weekend but as it is now, it still should start right?

update

got the car started....the split spade ground wasnt making a good connection and thus no start....so thanks gbianchi and dragoontwo:)

as for the trans seeming not to work, the trans was empty! i didnt drain the trans when i was R&R but it did leak out the lines so i must have lost that much in the 2 days i was working.

just thought i would end the thread as i hate unfinished threads lol:lol:
