Oh man... not another one

What's the deal with these wings lately?

I have to say, the all black one in the garage looks pretty cool (minus the sticker).

$5,200 for 120K Miles!!!!! Geeze It may be time to sell. I might be able to get $15,000 to $20,000 with less than 50K and a S/C. Not to metion the springs, window tint, rims/tires and $900 Stereo.

I'll set the buy it now price at $25K.

You realize this is for 2 cars? $8500 ain't bad for a 2 cars, one having stage II and a headunit with a 6.5" LCD.

Okay.. Someone remind me to get jet black original rims when I finally manage to pick up an Ebony... That just looks downright swank.

I suppose I could've worded that diffrently.. I mean to say get some original rims made black in some form or fashion, be it spraypainting or whatnot.. :)

Boost gauge.....

I'd like to see the interior of the black one. It'd be better to fix up the JDM and have a right hand drive SVX! (if it is indeed JDM)

Powdercoating will last much longer (and look much better) than spray painting the rims. though its a more involved(and co$tly) process.

Though it may last longer, I don't agree that it looks better. I've seen powder-coated SVX wheels and they lacked the depth the original paint had.

As for why these 'modded' SVXs are showing up on eBay, it's simple. Resale values plummeted and kids' parents are buying them up for next to nothing. The kids throw whatever garbage is fashionable onto them, then when the first big repair bill comes (either due to something routine or the neglect and abuse) they go up on the block.

No. The ones in Montana are supposedly mint. October 19th is the auction date.

That wing looks awful...
