this is on top of the other mods already done, are hopes are to brak 400 wheel hourse power and trap between 115-120 maybe break in the 11s

a couple of weeks ago it ran 12.80 no tunning @ 107 @ 16 psi low boost now where pushing 25 psi, off of 110 and meth injection

not for long, heheh. WRX isnt know for its strong transmission.
Be careful with 1st and second gear, i heard its easy to strip the teeth. Beef up the transmission, she'll appreciate it.

i know tim => ra's are set for the future, i snaped 5 trannies in my dsm so i know all abought it, it abought how you launch and drive your car will determine how long your tranny lasts.

i rarely launch the car only at the track that i can think of, if i race anything its from a roll,

our dyno came up verry short on saturday , it put down 340 hp at the crank 284 @ the wheels verry dissapointing, abought 100 hp short of what it should do, we had multiple issues, one was stock spark plugs,, other was heating issues 105 degress in the warehouse where te dyno was, and timing issues on the top end,

we tuned for 23 psi on pump gas runing straight meth injection

How many degrees colder spark plugs should you be running with that much boost?

105* heat in the warehouse is HOT! Surprised no one passed out...

Ah yeah that air temp will kill you, I'm keeping the stock route, all i want is a Borla Hush exhaust, a set of LHD projectors and tint my windows.
This is my new baby. Current mods, no more liscense plate frame. lol

Btw, you should consider getting a Cobb stage 1 chip for the car. Simple plug-n-play as it goes right into your OBDII port...

tim, looks nice, verry clean

get the basics, 1st a upipe, 2nd turbo back 3rd intake and 4th MBC

that is simple basic stuff, i would avoid cobb acess port and just go with a MBC my co worker has the unit in his car and cant even break the 13s with it, with a MBC set a 16.5 psi "max" stock turbo effeciency, should be fine

i ran 13.3 with those 4 simple mods stock turbo, and verry reliable a total of something like 1,100 total investment for a low 13 second car,

anything over 20 psi wich the stock turbo will never do is whene you have timing issus and a hole set of new issues,

if you just want a cat back, do a upipe also a cat back will give you no power gains alone. except for sound,

i dunno - i'm no expert at tuning turbo cars, but the concensus is that a CAI and a manual boost controller on a WRX is a good way to kill your engine. i'd do some research over at NASIOC first:

"mbcs cause part throttle full boost (ptfb) because you bypass the stock bc solenoid.... tap the throttle and you get full boost, even when you accel w/ cruise control. Not good - I'd strongly recommend not using one (unless you're really really educated and know EXACTLY what you're doing). Our 02s can handle them better than 04/05's, but you can still blow you engine by using one. But still... ptfb messes with the open/closed loop fuel system and that can = b00m"
"i'm not going to give you a bunch of crap about reading this or that. just understand that there are issues with using a mechanical boost controller that MUST be taken into consideration if you want your engine to be happy for any length of time. do searches and read and learn... or don't and possibly melt a piston or break a ring land or burn a valve.

i would recommend the Cobb Accessport ($650), an STi (~$200?) or gutted stock downpipe ($free). this will get you stage 2, and more peace of mind. you can change the uppipe for a quicker turbo spool up while you're in there if you like.

i would also probably upgrade the braking and suspension if you start adding the power........and of course, get new tires if the RE-92's are still on there. :D
