Black 1993???

Well, the 1992 ebony SVX that I purchsed is coming up on all registry and insurance computers as a 1993. I did not know that there were any 1993 that came in anything other than the special red. Opinions/ input???

And just as a P.S. the ebony is definitely in OEM paint....

Does it have the VIN of a 93?

sicksubie 03-05-2008 04:03 PM

according to the insurance company and registry.....

Hocrest 03-05-2008 04:05 PM

I'm guessing it was a 92, that was first registered in 93.

I don't have a 93 to look at for verification, but according to my 92-93 Service Supplement the 10th digit should be a "P" for a 93 model.

Correct Lee!:D
A 1992 is an N, and a 1993 is a P.
