Whining and very rough idle
 

I have a new issue....when the car gets warmed up.

I have a whining sound, kinda like a hose leak which is evident at idle through 2000rpm. I also get an extremely rough idle, to the point where the car has died while coasting.

I have no CEL. Only happens once car is warmed up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Seconded... almost certainly a vacuum leak or a tear in your intake hose. I had that same problem once and it drove me crazy until I found the torn intake boot.

This wasn't on an SVX though; was on my 2001 BMW 330i which was notorious for that :)

All it was was a slightly disconnected hose....car is back.

Just getting my bearings and breaks done as we speak....forgot how much i loved driving it!
