Micro SVX Meet

This past Sunday SVXCESS, his lovely wife Trish, The Beautiful Naviguesser, and myself (Larry III) had an SVX micro-meet at Longwood Gardens which is located in southeast PA next to the town of Kennet Square. Longwood Gardens is a 1000 acre site deicated to raising the most beautiful flowers, bushes and trees of every kind. It was started by the DuPonts but is now privately run. It is similar to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (yes, a tree does grow in Brooklyn) or Sterling Forest Gardens.

They were in the middle of their Crysanthimum Festival (speeling?) and had a Chinese troupe puting on a dance show. It was well worth the price of admission ($14/ea.).

SVXCESS had his new green, '96 LSi; and I drove SUBYDOO.

After we left Longwood we drove Rte. 100S to Greenville, Delaware for a dinner. Rte 100 would have been a fun drive except that a truck was in front of us moving slowly.

Befitting the mico-meet theme, we ate at a micro brewery, The Brandywine Brewing Co. The special of the day was raspberry wheat pale ale. It was quite good.

I will post pictures to my locker this coming weekend.

SVXCESS told me that it was a micro-meet because there were only 2 SVXes. So I will postulate the following definitionsz:
SVX Mico-Meet: Arranged meeting of 2 SVXes
SVX Mini-Meet: Arranged meeting of 3-5 SVXes
SVX Meet: Arranged meeting of 6 0r more SVXes

I use the term "Arranged", because I do not think that the chance meeting of SVXes qualifies as a true meet.

I would like comments, both pro & con, on these definitions.

Micro SVX Meet

...most of the Northwest meets meet the "Mini-Meet" criteria ... but we're working on plans for 2003 to meet the "Meet" status, with no hyphenated-adjectives.

Is Meet the Meet like Meet the Press or Meet your Maker.

My philosophy is that we all need more fun and laughter in our lives. We all need to recharge our batteries every so often. Life is tough enough. This site provides that for alot of us. But sometimes you need more.
