my 4.44 is acting up...help

Bud did my conversion 2 or so years ago, and just last week now it has started having real slow shifts between 2-3 and 3-4. Up reving and what not with out shifting unless I ease off.

I did the trans code check cause the power light was blinking 16 times on start up...but after finishing the code check the power light just keeps flashing I got to about 145 and quit.

What do I do?

Thanks

Greg

Whatever code is in the system will not tell you that the high-clutch in the transmission is worn out. The more you rev, the worse it will become.

Yeah I think so. Better give Bud a call maybe you can get it to him before it needs to be towed.

There must be a code, if the light flashed on start-up. The continuous flashing says no code, at the moment, but there may be a code in the memory. Check there to see.

Harvey.
