Another SVX in Russia :)

Recently, there was a show called "Auto exotics 2008" in Moscow. Judging by the fotos, at least one SVX owner attended:

I am not sure SVX was designed to go through the mud pit, but apparently it performed much better than a 'Vette :)

More photos here

PS. The license plate on SVX is a word pun in Russian. Spelled in two words, it means "we are legion", but if the same two words are joined, the meaning would be "to s$$t upon" or "don't give a s$$t about something". :) It doesn't look like an official license plate, though.

Holy whoa!

Why would someone even remotely expect that Vette to make it?!? That body kit gives it a clearance that's probably around 4 inches or so?

It was tough driving across the ocean to get there...but I had a great time....

(well it DOES look a lot like my SVX :D:D.....but mine wouldn't make it through the mud pit any better than that Vette did:rolleyes:)

I thought the stock SVX clearance was 4 inches?

lol I was originally gonna say 2 or 3 for the corvette, but then I ninja'd it to be 4 inches because when I looked at the distance between the bottom of the front tire and the bottom of the body it actually proved to be more than I expected. I would only know for sure if I saw in person lol, the SVX still has the benefit of power to all wheels, but 4wd is a lot more effective than Awd once you get into that kind of muck.

Vette never stood a chance, lol and why do people slap ugly wings onto the back of Vettes?? Aside from the C5-R and C6R, they only look good with a nice lip spoiler. Anything more on a Vette looks ridiculous.

I can see the SVX, we've seen every kind of Subaru play in the mud up here at the West Coast Subaru Shows, but the Vette is just INSANE! What kind of crazy exotic car show is there where everything is required to play in the mud pit? It's like a Japanese game show or something.

I don't think they "required" anybody to take the mud pit; I would think the 'Vette owner fell victim of the "Chicken? Nobody calls McFly a chicken!" trickery.

However, it seems that they even convinced Smart ForTwo owner to hit the mud pit:
