Car Cover?

I was wondering if any of you have a SVX car cover...At least a generic one that is inexpensive. I looked on motorsport warehouse, but it's $185. I'm sure it's great quality, but out of my college price range. Can anyone suggest anything? Thanks.

go to any big chain auto parts store (Pep Boys, etc.). i got a good universal one for my old car for like $60-80. there a bunch of different kinds - i needed snow and rain protection, as i guess you would in Philly. ;)

Alan, my boyfriend works at Pep Boys and I want him to pick me up one tomorrow. Do you happen to know the brand you had (if it is a good one)? Do you use it for the SVX? If you do, what size did you get? And you're right, I will need the one for rain and snow as well. Thanks a lot!

ummm....i got it about 5 years ago - can't remember the brand, but there's probably even more (and better) ones to choose from now. it was a 'medium size' one for my 928. now that i have a garage, and the 928 is gone, the SVX has inherited it. ;) just look for something that meets your criteria (snow, rain, UV, etc.). something else to look for is that it is breatheable. good luck,

I bought one at Costco for $49.00. It was a large and even listed Subaru SVX in the size chart. It has worked great. It doesn't have mirror pockets, but is not too tight either. Good luck. :)

Earl, I have a Costco membership! haha, thanks to my mom. Anyways, what brand is the cover? This sounds great. Thanks so much!

When you see a car parked on the street with a car cover, is it rude to peak underneath? :(

I don't see why not. It depends on the shape of the item underneath though. If you are a man, you can use the man vision to imagine what it could be.... I do that once in a while with other things under some sort of cover on the side of the street.

The cover from Subaru for the SVX is around $85 . I have one that I bought used, but would not hesitate to buy a new one. The fit is perfect and it is well made, not as heavy as the one I have for my Camaro but better that a generic chain store type.

here is the link for it.

Thanks, everyone.
Seems like this is the only way I can protect my car from whoever (well, I think I know who it is) likes to egg it and put dents in it. :( Although, I kind of fear the cover will draw more attraction.

i'd also recommend Smith & Wesson for some vandal prevention. ;)

Oh good, I'm curious about the cars, but I feel nosy lifting up the cover. However, I'm sure it would be very rude to try to peak under the cover of the other things on the side of the street. ;)

I once had a girl that peek underneath my pullover to see what I was wearing. I looked underneath her blouse. She did not mind. :D

Leave it to Lwin...Everytime I ask about buying an accessory for my car (last time it was the bra), just leave it to him to give a sexual reply....Although, Alcyone was in on it this time, too. :p

Hehe. You asked about the bra last time though. You should see me in person. I am much calmer.
