There are a huge number of members who have been gone for many, many years. That scues the numbers.

The SVX facebook group is probably the most active "fourm" for this chassis these days. I've joined it, but the amount of misinformation, poorly chosen/executed modifications keeps me from participating.

With a unique marque, which keeps getting older, you cannot expect growth in numbers. Maybe not a big poster, I will still remain loyal.

The Facebook group is nothing more than the old Yahoo format with pics, & sloppy grammar. I fail to see its attraction. For the record, I still have the semi-pristine ebony, sharing its drive time with a Miata, & a Pacifica. Amongst all three I log less than 5K per year. Retirement does that to ya'. :)

I'm semi-active. It is a lot of more active over 10 years ago.

After I move overseas, selling both my SVXi and getting rid off all the parts I have.
I will be less than semi-active.

But I will always remember my User name and password, logging in once in a while.


PS: how are you, John? I still have the manual you gave it to me on the alternator mod from your pearlie from one of the Reading.

i was wondering the same but like other members have noted, it's an uncommon car that is getting older and rarer each day. I too wish there was more activity as i recently bought my 2nd SVX after a 14 year gap when i sold the first one. She's a 92 with 59k on it and worth the wait.

With my SVX parked I've gone to much more of a lurker status. Right now I'm working 7 days a week, planning a wedding, and putting time and money into my flying when I can so the car thing has really taken a back seat. Hopefully this summer I'll be able to start cutting metal (and maybe something more) and getting the restoration of my car underway properly.

I'm still around, but I still have never actually owned a SVX...yet.
