Security/ alarm not working
 

Hello to all,
I bought my SVX one week ago and the security/alarm does not work.

The red light on the dash comes on but nothing else seems to work. I took the remote apart but it seemed OK.
I tried the programming procedure, in a diiferent post but it too did not work.

I followed the manual to try the alarm system without the remote, but that too did not work.
The previous owner told me that the security system was installed but not activated.

Anybody have any ideas as to how to get the security system working? :confused:
