Hows it going everyone? Well, I bought an SVX w/ a 5 speed conversion a few weeks ago(waiting for it to be delivered). I'm new to subarus but I have wanted one(an impreza) since I was 15. I am a vehicle mechanic in the Air Force. I also have a 71 Datsun 240Z that I love. Anyways, just thought Id give an intro, cuz Ill be posting on this forum quite a bit.

Have you taken a drive in an SVX with the stock transmission? It helps to show how much better the 5 speed is!

Hi Steven, and welcome to the site. Take some time with the Search button up top, as there are volumes upon volumes of info on pretty much every subject.

Your first SVX is a 5spd, that's awesome! Make sure to put some pics in your Locker when it arrives.

Damn brian that is a nice ass 200sx.. I havnt seen a descent one in well... ever. I got my svx off of ebay. I was actually looking for an impreza wagon when I came across it. I havnt seen any in a few years(since I got stationed in Abilene, tx). But I came from Colorado where you tend to see a few more AWD cars. I have never ridin in or drivin any kind of subaru or even any kind of AWD car for that matter, so im pretty excited. Im going to be completing the body work on my car(needs paint) and fixing some issues(brakes, wheel bearings, etc...) Does anyone on this forum live in or near abilene or dallas/ft worth?

BTW here is the ebay link to my svx. Let me know what you guys think. I really do not like the body kit(im not a big body kit kinda guy). I think the stock svx looks much better, but I can't complain. I also do not care for the lcd in the dash but it might be cool if it was done right. Anyways, here is the link

All I have to say is, I am very sorry for you. Please ask us any questions on how you can fix that car, it is an unholy mess.
