Re: changing the ebrake handle
Remove the phillips screw, and it just slides off. This should be in the tech forum.

Re: changing the ebrake handle
Very easy. Just hold the button in when you take it off, so it doesn't pop off. The spring is pretty easy to lose sight of if it falls out (ask me how I know). The screw is pretty easy to lose too.
Wait, do you mean switching to a different kind of E-brake altogether? |

Re: changing the ebrake handle
I have a thread on here with pics with the e-brake handle I replaced my stock one with. It is a simple, straight aluminum handle with whatever that textured etching is called (the word is failing me at the moment).

The word you're thinking of is "knurled". |

Re: changing the ebrake handle
It's also a lot lighter than a stock e-brake handle too...
Hey if someone else on here can brag about how his glovebox door is lighter than mine than I can brag on this... |
Re: changing the ebrake handle
maybe but i'm not paying almost 200 for a knob lol

Re: changing the ebrake handle
I didnt pay that, but that was the price he said if he had to make more. I can ask him again to see if he is interested and what the price would be.
