The Subaru SVX World Network - Time to park my SVX for a while..

Well my SVX is in need of repairs...what else is new right?
Needs new struts and strut mounts all around, and the engine and tranny mounts are shot.
Also the tranny seems to be flaring more often than it used to. What used to be a small flair in second sometimes when going really slowly, has now turned into a almost always 500rpm flair in second at low speed.
Now its going on winter, and I will need to buy some new wheels and tires for the winter. I really don't want to run my wheels in the salt..and I got summer tires on them, so I was going to just get a set of cheap wheels to put some snow tires on.
Well instead I decided to park the SVX. I hate to do it, but shes going to have to sit for most of the winter.
She needs a tranny swap, and some svxfiles suspension work, and that's whats she is going to get.
So I leased a Legacy on Monday so the SVX can rest until I can bank up enough for a road trip to svxfiles.

I went in for an Impreza $179/mo 42month lease, but after sitting in it, it seemed so small inside.
I had a 2001 RS, had it until Jan 2010, so 9 years, and that never felt small to me.
I guess driving the SVX has me needing more car...
They had a $2000 down, $199/mo lease on 2011 legacy base model, which turns out to really be $224/mo after dealership tax and things.
I ended up going with a $1000 down, $251/mo 36mo lease.

According to Subaru.com dealer inventory, there were only 2 base model legacys on lot in CT. I believe it too, I went to 5 Subaru dealerships to try and test drive a manual anything and no one had one. Subaru.com said there were only 5 manual 2011 subarus on lot in CT at the time.
So I had a choice, Ruby Red Pearl with black interior. Or Azurerite Blue with Ivory (off white) interior. I don't want a light interior, specially on a lease..
So Ruby Red it is.

When I first saw the car, I thought it was burgundy. When its cloudy out, or getting dark, it looks so dark burgundy. In the sunlight, it looks ruby red metallic. Its like having a color changing car. I like it.
