Brakes

Anyone use, or used, Power Stop brake rotors? Or Evolution ceramic pads?
Mechanic has used them and really likes them.
Shipping (5 days)+rotors/pads=$325

Looking at the options and shipping times/costs. I've been in touch with Tom about race concepts as well.

Getting a bunch of things done at the same time and want to get her in soon. (air conditioning pulley, oil change, tire rotation, front brakes, sparkplugs if I get too frustrated doing them myself).

I've never used Power Stop rotors, but heard they're not great. That was also from within the RX-7 community where there is a lot more aftermarket support. I was offered a 1 year sponsorship from them and ended up not taking it.

I have Hawk pads on right now the SVX right now and couldn't be happier. I ordered them online and were the same price as OEM replacement pads.

Race Concepts all the way... Now that OT is a distributor for them, its is much easier to deal with. They are great quality and I have no question about running them in auto-x or road racing

Thanks for the imput. I'll go race concepts...I'm doing the rotors because they squeal like crazy, and its driving me nuts after a year of it. Had them checked out by 2 different shops, and the brakes and pads are fine...except for the noise.

Anything else I should check before springing for a new set of brakes?
Should I do all 4, or is just the front (where the squeal is coming from) okay?

I do brakes every other... meaning I do the whole set at once... Then just the fronts... then all 4 again. If you are going to dig, might as well jump for the whole package w/ stainless lines, rotors, and Axxis pads.
