Ken!

So sorry to hear...:(

It looks fixable. I hope that you had full coverage. :(

Ouch! It's definatly fixable, maybe it's time for a 97 grill or fg hood. It looks like a truck or van hit it any of them around your area to suspect?

Did someone hit it when it was parked? Looks like just the hood and grill sustained damage.

I've got a pretty much brand new front grill you can have for the cost of shipping from Toronto...just let me know if you want it. I'd hate to see you write this off.

thanks. i have full coverage, but my insurance (american family) uses nada. the adjuster i talk to on the phone kept using a $2825 value number which is the same i pull up on the website, but it doesn't take into consideration my car's mileage which brings it to $3687. amfam considers the car a total loss at 70%. the problem is they are considering this a collision claim of which i carry a $1000 deductible. :(

well all of my neighbours drive full-size trucks and there's one suv down the road with some damage, but i've never seen it before.

yes. it happened sometime overnight or early this morning. the damage is head on, so i'm really thinking it was intentional. also, there was no hood emblem or pieces of the waterfall grille on teh ground.

This really sucks, Ken.:(
But it looks like a hood, grille, and maybe a radiator support tweak will fix it.
Maybe you could drive it without a hood to Reading, and let Jerry (subi-crosser) and I take a port-a-power to it?
Just trying to help.:)

PS; Jerry can do more with a rock, a piece of cardboard, a string and some ducttape than most shops.:cool:
