I wouldn't jump to that kind of conlusion. I think it's far more likely that the real problem was the same thing we see on our own roads fifty times a day - people not paying attention. People have a tendency to take steaming along the freeway or making a left turn through a red light for granted. Driving is usually a trouble-free activity, so people get complacent.

Rather than assume the people involved were 'idiots,' I for one hope nobody was seriously hurt.

I believe you were refering to a bicyclist, crotch rocket boys just think they can outrun the cops...

Hee haw. I was actually impressed with the attire of most of the riders. It always cracks me up to see some idiot riding around shirtless, wearing shorts and sneakers and oh yeah, of course no helmet (which I always wear simply so it'll snap my neck and I'll die quickly rather than suffer through the pain of the accident!!!) :D

common sense tells you if you are approaching an incident to slow down not turn your head, watch the ill fated as you give it more gas and become a statistic yourself :rolleyes: ...morons
