Survivorman or Man vs. Wild?

Been watching these two shows for a while and Survivorman I believe is the better of the two. That retarded monkey on crack "Bear Grylls" advice is going to get someone hurt or killed. He puts himself IN danger. Generally he tends to rush and wear himself out rather than stopping and assessing your situation. Your opinions are welcome

Survivorman > MvW

The way I see it is that Survivorman is all on his own, if he makes a mistake he's gonna be toast. He does all of his own camera work, he lugs all of the gear and will often have to back track and re-climb or re-descend a hill to get good shots.

On MvW there is a camera crew with him, I believe that they mostly stay uninvolved, but if Bear gets into a life and death situation, I'm sure they would get involved and save his sorry ass.

bear is just so much more bad ass i mean his goal is to get out of the area and that other surviver man just sits there... and that whole no camera crew thing gets annoying... and i know both of them have a emergncy rescue system

Bear Grylls is more into making his show TV worthy IMO.

I have seen a show of each and neither of them kept my attention. I felt both were too outlandish. IF I do need to get off a iceberg I know how, but I would rather know how to get out of a car about to hit a wall with out brakes.

I gotta agree with you, I'm sure he is in contact with people via a sattelite phone but really he's out there alone. Bear is more about showing off his British special forces knowledge. Besides, no matter how hot it gets, I'm not going to pee on my shirt and tie it to my head.:o
