SVX Sightings; Pittsburgh

I was getting around today, a little more than usual, and had 2 good sightings. First, a black 92, no spoiler. Saw it at a parking lot at station square - mid afternoon. Had some kinda big sticker on the lower part of the windshield. Didn't have time to leave a note on that one.

Second, i went to P.F. Chang's at the waterfront in Homestead, and saw a 92 Pearlie, no spoiler. The owner got out of it, i approached him, but he was on a cell phone, and I did not want to disturb him. I went over, checked out the car. It had a 'SVX World Network' sticker. (Who is it?) I left a note.

at any rate, today was a very active SVX day in the Pittsburgh metro area.

No clue who it was but I love when I see several SVXs in one day. They're quite popular in the Harrisburg area. Hell, there are several I see in Carlisle everyday :)

:D B.C. :D

Hi Mike,

sent you an email. What was funny was that i thought it was a ticket since the melted snow soaked it through. I scratched my head trying to make sense why i would get a ticket in a free lot before realizing it was a note.

Bassem

p.s. i also saw a black one in Squirrel Hill and there is always a red one at CMU as well as a blue one at the top of the Schenley golf course

How can you possibly see two in one day and I've never seen one ever ? I'm starting to think the whole "SVX" thing is just some giant conspiracy, and there is really no such thing... only thousands of doctored images and government agents trying to convince me of the car's existance

I guess that's why we have "meets". :D

FWIW we saw our first SVX in Pittsburgh

My wife and I were walking through our apartment complex in lovely Oakdale and saw a Liquid Silver LS-L in early 1993. Wife thought it was the most beautiful car she'd ever seen. I put it out of my mind until it came time to get her a car. I stumbled across ours on a Toyota used car lot in Indianapolis in '95 and we bought it. Only regretted the decision a couple of times ;)

BTW- I want a Liquid Silver, NON-touring package if someone runs across one.
