Cross drilled rotors - which ones?

I think I would like to replace my rotors and brakes from stock to cross drilled rotors, and preformance pads. I would do the braided brake lines as well. The question:
1) Are these brakes really better than the stock brakes? (less tendency to warp and less fade)
2) If they are, which brand would be better, and for what reasons.
I know that the zinc plated ones look better, and will resist rust, but will wear better as well.

I am trying to decide if I am going to do this, and if I do, which brand to go with. The two that I see the most is Motorsport and ART. I am sure that either of these are very good, but I am trying to do my research before I buy. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Do a search on cross drilled rotors and you'll find a lot of information. I have pics of the cross-drilled rotors I put on my car last fall. I bought these from KVR in Canada. I also bought carbon-fiber, semi-metallic blend pads. I have pics in my locker. I've been pleased with the results. Next month I'll do the SS lines and I'm working on a caliper conversion using the WRX four piston calipers.

As far as warping rotors is concerned, I replaced the ORIGINAL 10 year old front rotors on my car at 135K miles! They had been cut three times ON THE CAR by whatever Subaru delaership I happened to be living near at the time. I NEVER had a warped rotor. I replaced them with the cross-drilled rotors, followed their break-in procedure and again have no signs indicative of a warped rotor.
