Resolutions
Guys and girls,
I got a question for a site I am designing. I need to know what kind of resolution you are running on your screens. Thanks, Lwin |
Hmm... let me guess. :p
|
I have a feeling that 1024 x 768 might be the winner... And this is for the .org site.

Bingo.... :D (may the wind be at your fingers)

1152x768... Not on your list... Apple Widescreen (HDTV)

1024x768 on the monitor - 800x600 on the big screen (its only available resolution)

If people are using the 800 x 600, then I should redesign the flash site for that resolution. Can the browsers (ie webtv) handle flash? I'd hate to have 2 different sites but sometimes, that had to be done :( Lwin |
The only downside of 1024 for me on the bigscreen is it clips about 10% of the right side and I have to side scroll (oh, horrors!) to catch some text. Occasionally I'll hit a site that has controls at the bottom of the page that are a pain, sometimes impossible, to use as the screen cannot be scrolled down. As long as you leave any controls on the left side or use frames I think it will work for most, whatever res' they use.
Is webtv still around? (I don't use it, my bigscreen has two vga ports so I use it when I'm feeling lazy) I use either computer, just a matter of recliner or desk chair. |
i just got rid of webTV back in April. damn, was that thing slow!!! DSL lets me do in 10 minutes what would take webTV an hour.
|
I picked 1280x1024, but it's really 1280x2048 across two monitors. :D
|
I still run EGA. Will the site be compatible? It's 320X240 16 step Monochrome
:D :D :D |
