Map of SVX Owners' Locations

Cheers!

I have this posted in the regular forum and thought that our friends across the pond might like to have their SVX represented.

Enjoy!

Thanks Dave.

That's a lot of fun.

I logged on and gave my SVX a location. Then moved it closer to home:p

Problem is, the satellite has my car in the middle of a field somewhere near Kildare!!

Great fun, thanks:D

Joe:)

I looked on the map amd saw your Somerset listing Graham. Cool.

BTW, the link you have above does not work for some reason.

John blueji, your listing on satellite picture selection works right down to the best resolution. Your car seems to be parked in a factory car park!
Unfortunately, none of the parked cars looks like an SVX.:p

Joe;)

Hi Joe!

you seem to have me at a disadvantage with the satalite thing.......are you stuck in your field by any chance?:p

While I'm here I might as well ask the Guru,;) do braided brake hose 'really' make a difference, I'm just bringing the old girl out of hibernation and have a big 'to do' list and was just wondering if the cost is worth the result, if anyone has done this?

Guru?

I'm more like an Oracle, except I'm a non-smoker:p

Yes.

The answer is yes, it is well worthwhile doing the braided hoses. They firm up the pedal quite a lot. I'm doing mine, just as soon as Black Betty is rolling. She's a long time laid up. I'm going to purge and replace all the brake fluid as well as I replace the hoses.

And I'm led to believe by my brother, who knows these things, that bleeding a car with abs is troublesome and can give bother if not tackled in the correct sequence.

Which is why he'll be doing it. :D

Here's where to get them at the right price John:

Joe:)

Yes, I left mine in the field. It's what 4wd is for!!;)

WOAH, who is Graham?

5mt supercharged? Is he on the boards?

AppStateSVX 02-16-2006 05:37 PM

it wouldn't let me add my Zip code, I had to use the one from back home....weird

Great minds and all that Joe!

They are the ones I have my eye on, and thanks for the advice about the abs etc, I will pay attention as i hope to replace the brake fluid in mine as well.....only problem with me is, my brother's a cabinet maker...:(

I'm on the map. Frappr doesn't know where Guernsey is so I have had to enter Jersey

wynndi 02-18-2006 06:41 AM

Does anyone have any Asian SVX contacts? It would be interesting to see the models that weren't available anywhere else and their locations.
