Auto Seat Belt - No Go
First of all I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. I am not saying it isn't there, I just can't find it.
Here is the problem. I replaced my battery. I have had the problem in my 1993 for some time now that the auto belt will only move forward when the key is on, and the door opens. Well, after I changed the battery, and the car is running, the seat belt will not move back when I close the door. In fact, it will not move at all any more. I don't know if this is just timing, or if changing the battery did something. Any help would be appreciated. Being beltless does not help much. Thanks :( |
There is a manual crank hole in the back seat on the wall and there is supposed to be a crank handle in the center console under the floor mat. At least you would be able to crank it to the rear position.:) and then use the shoulder belt:)

Thanks. I don't think I have one of those cranks, but I will check around for one. That may be what I have to do. I may try disconnecting the battery again, and see what that does. :(
(remembers that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results) |
