Raikkonen Unbeatable

Will anyone be able to defeat the Iceman this year. He's in my opinion the hands down best driver in Formula 1 right now and as of this year, finally has a car (a Ferrari) that is equal to his talent. Alonzo could cause some havoc, but can he really win the championship in an ailing Mclaren?

Yes, he is beatable...Schumacher was said to be unbeatable and he got beat. It is that simple. I have been following F1 for many years and love the sport. As you can tell by the sig. I support Ferrari in all racing, but they are going to have to step up even more this season to stand out. Last season was sad and I do not want that to happen again. We are also only one race in and 3 days til the next one. Only time will tell to see who is unbeatable.

Sure in theory he's beatable. No one is bullet proof, but who is there racing right now that could beat him? Massa? Fisci? Alonzo? Hamilton? Ralf (ha!)

If they have to change Kimi's engine this week I doubt he'll be winning the race.

Just because he has to start from the back or pit? If you watch F1 you know that starting from the back just shows talent and skill to win.

I've been watching F1 since '89. If Kimi starts from the back or pits he has no chance of catching Massa, therefore he cannot win.

You have got to be kidding me. Shumacher came from the back many times and so have other racers. I do not feel that you can say he will not be able to win just because he is starting from the last row. It might be hard, but it has and can be done.

Told you Kimi, wouldn't win, and when people have comeback from ~last place to win there have been unusual circumstances such as rain, etc.

I never said he was unbeatable. I said that he could come back from the back if he needed to. I don't really think that we will come to an agreement over this topic. I feel that you don't need rain or some strange thing to happen for someone to come back from the back.

With the drivers in the field and how even the cars are currently you do. If Schumi was still driving I would have agreed with you, but Kimi and Massa are no where near as talented as Michael.

SubaruKidSVX 04-10-2007 12:14 PM

No, you are correct they are not, but I still think they can come back from behind.
