Where to buy a MPG computer?

Does anyone know where to buy a computer for calculating and displaying miles per gallon of fuel usage?

I haven't had any success finding a web site with this product.

Thanks :)

You'd need some sort of device that could actually know how much fuel was being used, know how much the car had used so far (s it would know how much was left) and display an estimated remaining range based on those numbers.

To retrofit something like this to a car sounds really expensive.

Lwin, I'd like to know your solution, besides programs/accessories/calculator. :p

I think the ones I have seen in BMW's and other cars give an instantaneous reading. That is what I am looking to do.

To do this, I think the time the fuel injectors are open has to be converted to gallons per hour or similar. That number would then get divided by the ground speed in miles per hour or similar and there you have it. :D

Soooo... ah Lwin. :) You got a computer installed in your car that does this? What is the computer hooked up to? How do you do it?
