Croaking when turning steering wheel
 

Something in the front of my SVX croaks/groans when I turn the steering wheel. I don't think it's the steering system though. If I bring the car to a stop with a lurch I get a small croak from the front. It also doesn't happen every time. The first time I heard it I was in a parking lot. Stopped immediately and checked P/S fluid, which was full and in good condition.

Upper strut mounts maybe?

Does it sound like the steering? If you haven't replaced the O-Ring yet, I would do that first. It doesn't have to leak to give you problems. :o
